Aspen Snowmass New Lift
Aspen Snowmass is spending $8 million on replacing the High Alpine lift with a new high speed quad & re-aligning the lift for the 2015 / 2016 ski season. Great news for snowboarders who will no longer need to take the flat traverse to access Upper Green Cabin. Skiers & boarders will now be able to get from Rock Island, the Cirque & AMG to the High Alpine area more easily. The new chairlift will also reduce ride time by 50% from 11 minutes to 5.6 mins, meaning you can fit even more runs into your day! Additional snow-making equipment will also be added & there will be some extra glading too.
Aspen Highland Cloud Nine Bistro
At Aspen Highlands the Cloud Nine Alpine Bistro is being renovated over the Summer to include a new cosy fireplace & 2 dining rooms, plus kitchen enhancements to offer an even better experience. The famous fondue & raclette served there as well as wine, champagne & cocktails will continue to be served in this European style historic restaurant.
Snowmass Sled Food Truck
Introduced last spring the Sled will be returning to Snowmass ski resort serving quick & fresh food to go, perfect for refuelling during a busy day on the mountain. Check out @mtndining on instagram to find out where the sled will be each day.
