Edelweiss, Park City reviews:
"We are completely blown away by this place Helen, it is AMAZING. We are both on excellent skis, courtesy of Dylan at the Aloha ski rental in The Loft at the Base (not sure if they are Silver or he's upgraded us!) and have skied our little legs off. There are too many great areas to have a 'favourite', and today we got fresh tracks and skied all the the way over to the Super Condor lift, as far right as you can go, and then all the way back again...... We are really enjoying the huge amount of Blues and Single Black diamonds......and it is SO beautiful. A local told us to ski areas serviced by slow two man chairs at the weekend, so we had relatively empty trails and no queues, and of course, not needing a bus meant we were at the lift as it opened on Saturday and Sunday.......lie in on Monday.......
We love our little 'condo', being able to come back to our own place is a joy, and we are enjoying shopping in the Fresh Market........we have found the liquor store! It is so well equipped I have even baked a cranberry and pecan cake. Being on the second floor means it is very quiet, and I am writing this at 1645 with the balcony door wide open and the sun pouring in.
Love it here, and the 10 minute walk to the vast supermarket means we have lurched from local t bone steaks to Alaskan snow crab, Californian asparagus to fresh Floridian pineapple, huge fun. The booze shop is equally vast and diverse........we commented on the empty slopes this morning, 'enjoy, it'll be busy after 12' we were told, 'they're all in church'.....quite true, although the threatened storm sent a lot of people home early.
We really hope we can come here again next year.......so don't tell everyone how comfortable it is!
Thank you so much for being so efficient, and for finding us such a great place to stay.
Love from Janie and James xx"
