WHAT'S NEW?

• Highline Lift (Chair 10) & Sourdough Lift (Chair 14) were replaced this summer with new high speed quad chairlifts.
• Both lifts will expedite the trip to Two Elk Restaurant, China Bowl and Blue Sky Basin & cut ride times in half.

TERRAIN

• The Front Side offers 127 marked runs as well as all four terrain parks. Choose to cruise down the powder-filled blues next to the Mountaintop Express or challenge yourself to the four-mile long Riva Ridge. 
  
  
• Blue Sky Basin offers up a whole different type of mountain experience.  With trees, rocks and natural terrain everywhere, skiers & boarders can enjoy gladed runs at a variety of levels.  Blue Sky Basin is filled with both intermediate & advanced runs, allowing skiers of at least mid-level ability to enjoy its unique scenery & terrain.
  
  
• Vail’s Back Bowls are the stuff legends are made of.  You need more than a day to explore the seven diverse bowls that stretch across six breathtaking miles.  Whether it’s gliding down Poppyfields in China Bowl or making tracks on Genghis Khan, the Back Bowls offer a huge amount of terrain to challenge and satisfy the experienced skier.
  
  
• Terrain parks Vail’s Fly Zones - Vail features four critically acclaimed terrain parks, each with its own purpose & special treats for experienced skiers and boarders.

LIFTS

• There are 32 lifts: 1 gondola, 16 high-speed quads (including two new upgrades for 2007-2008), 1 fixed-grip quad, 2 triple & 3 double chairlifts, 3 surface lifts & 6 magic carpets.
  

APRES SKI

• Don't miss the free StreetBeat concerts that take place every third Wednesday night in November, December, March and April starting at 6 p.m. in Vail Village.

Adventure Ridge is Vail’s day and night mountain top activity center featuring:

• Eagle Bahn Gondola - free for scenic rides & Adventure Ridge guests after 2 p.m.
• Snow Tubing - With multiple lanes, the lift-served tubing hill delivers rip-roaring laughs for all.
• Ski Biking - intermediate skiers & riders can take to the slopes on a specially crafted bike that has skis instead of wheels. 
• Trampoline - rebound harnessed bungees support jumpers on two different trampolines as they bounce around & explore what they're capable of at such great heights.
• Snowshoe Tours - the Guided tours around the mountain. 
• Kids Snowmobiling - the Blizzard Speedway track lets little "racers" zip around as mum & dad watch.
• Nature at Night - expert naturalists from Gore Range Natural Science School for nature give talks under the stars.
