Vail Ski resort USA "There's no comparison" - that's their strapline and it's hard to argue with. Vail is the largest ski resort in North America with its 193 runs and 32 lifts to whisk you up the mountain. Vail averages around 350 inches of snow per year and has 7 legendary backbowls which give abundant fresh tracks for all. For those more inclined to ski the groomers Vail grooms much of the front side giving great skiing for any ability.

Ptarmigan Chalet is our closest chalet to Vail resort, just about 5 minutes drive away or 10 minutes on the free shuttle bus. The 6 bedroom catered ski chalet sleeps up to 14 people and can be booked by the room or on a whole chalet basis. It has spacious lounge / dining room with fireplace, full kitchen and the obligatory outdoor hot tub, perfec for relaxing at the end of a "hard" days skiing. This chalet includes luxurious added extras: robes, slippers, Molton Brown toiletires, Ipod docking station.

Chalet Timberline is located just 10 mins from the slopes in East Vail and is set amongst pine & spruce trees in a charming setting. Chalet Timberline is a delightful catered chalet with its gorgeous views, rock fireplace, french provincial decor & terrace with bubbling hot tub, perfect for soaking those limbs at the end of the day. With 5 bedrooms, Chalet Timberline sleeps up to 11 people.

Chalet Huckleberry is a chocolate box style chalet, located just 10 mins from the slopes of Vail. It has 4 bedrooms, sleesp 8 people and has a cozy lounge with log fireplace & outdoor hot tub. Chalet Huckleberry is a great place to relax & put your feet up after skiing and enjoying the apres ski in lively Vail.
